18th/19th century, with an embossed top and floral decoration to the body (18.52 grams), together with a Dutch silver miniature cake basket, stamped 'WH' possibly Willem Hermanus (1847-1883), with a pierced oval body, 4cm high x 4.1cm wide (31.17 grams) (2)
Provenance: Part of the collection formed by Baron Michiels van Verduynen (1885-1952), the Dutch ambassador to the Court of St James’(1939-1942). After the collection returned to the family’s residence Huys Clingendael. Thence by descent to the Barons
