The item bears the usual minor scuffs and knocks, overall consistent with age and use. Old closed splits overall to the timber. More pronouced scuffs to the top and the drawers. All key hole escutcheons missing. Back boards probably later replaced. The upper and lower sections are not fixed together, and are proably associated.
