Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.

The item bears the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use. It is also rather dirty overall, with bird excrement in places.

Veneers are missing in places.

The tambour top is damaged, with just the first 20cm of it sliding down to the lock plate. The remainder might be lodged inside the desk but we cannot access the interior to check this.

The leather skiver is scuffed overall, its gilt tooling worn. The writing platform pulls out cleanly and the angle strut is in good order. One of the turned bone handles to the interior is loose. They are probably both replaced.

There is a loss to the moulding beneath the lower right corner of the right drawer.

One coaster is detached, but present.
