The coffer bears the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use.
The lock is replaced, as is the wood panel immediately surrounding it in which it sits. There are traces of old worming either side of the lock.
Old and stable, naturally occurring splits within the timber.
Losses to back edges of both back legs.
Basically good order overall.
