Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

The item bears the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use.

The cornice at top right side is broken away and missing. The shaped bracket fascia of the front left foot is also missing.

Metalware in the upper section is later replaced. Half of the swing handles are missing from the lower section.

The piece is rather dusty and 'dry' overall.

The interior of the upper section is arranged for hanging, with two bars of wooden hooks running from side to side along the 'ceiling'. The hanging space extends down into what would have been the upper drawers. These drawer fronts have been sealed, but the one to the right now lifts out of its aperture.

The panelled back is probably original.
