Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

The writing desk bares scratches and wear throughout consistent with age and use, the green leather writing inset is scuffed and worn away in parts. The coloured marquetry remains in some areas, but, has faded significantly (as to be expected).

The piece is in great condition overall, some lifting to the veneer in places. Overall the desk is structurally sound and appears to bear its original handles and escutcheons. The legs appear to be in good condition.
