Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

Evidence of old worm. Damages and repairs apparent, as well as some later alterations. There are cosmetic chips and knocks to the feet. The feet look like they could have been cut down. There are repairs to the corner brackets at the top of the legs. There are surface marks and scratches to the legs, especially at the edges. Corner supports have been added to the underside. The chair has been re-covered. The dowls are pronounced at the bottom of the arms, where they join the seat (please see photos). A good patina.

We believe this chair to be without springs, but as we are unable to examine entirely we cannot say with certainty.
