AN EARLY GEORGE II WALNUT AND OAK CHEST OF DRAWERS

Circa 1735, with cross banding, with two small drawers and flanking drawers to the upper frieze and three long graduated drawers below, flanked either side by fluted pillars, on bracket feet, 107cm high x 97cm wide x 52cm deep (damages and losses to the veneer apparent)

Some surface wear and scratches, commensurate with age and use. There are areas of veneer missing, some pieces are present, others are not. There have been damages and repairs. Both sides are split and need attention. There are cracks to the top and to the front of the drawers. The handles are likely replaced. Viewing advised.
