Patina dry to both sides, suggesting watermarks/or diminishing of varnish/polish. The joins are apparent between the top panels of the chest. A few small scratches and areas of wear, appropriate to age and use. Other than that in fairly good condition. Handles likely replaced. Later bracket applied to the front feet, for support.
