Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

The chest on stand is overall in good condition with minimal losses of veneer and the surface being fairly free from scratches, scuffs and knocks, There is a piece of edging missing from one drawer, the moulding and veneer has started to lift slightly in places, and there is evidence of old woodworm. The drawers are well fitted, opening and closing without issue. All locks bar one are intact and a key is present. All handles and escutcheons are present, and appear to be original to the later stand but not the chest.
