A CHINESE EXPORT ARMORIAL TEAPOT

Qing dynasty, of cylindrical form, with a strawberry finial, decorated blue scrolling top on a pale ground, an entwined handle and straight tapering spout, the body decorated with floral sprays and a crest to either side consisting of gilt lettering in a ribbon tied wreath, 14cm high x 23.5cm long

There are chips present to the tip of the spout, mouth of the teapot, handle and underside of the lid. There appears to have been repair/restoration work completed on the handle where it joins the teapot. The painted and gilded decoration is good with no visible losses.
