Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

Both candle sticks display appropriate wear commensurate with their age and use. There is visible scratching, scuffing, marking and splitting to the wooden bases of both sticks, with one also displaying evidence of woodworm. The brass of both candlesticks has been dented and manipulated in places, particularly the drip tray of the example with the lignum vitae base. Both candlesticks retain their original, adjustable sockets and hooks.
