The linen press is overall in good condition with some scuffs, scratches and losses present commensurate with its age and use. There are obvious areas of veneer replacement and losses, though on the whole the veneer is mostly free from damage. There are slight losses to the pediment and drawer edges. It should also be noted that there are the remnants of some tape residue across the fronts of the doors.

The interior of the linen press is complete with all its drawers and they are free from splits though have suffered minor knocks and scratching. The handles and escutcheons seem to be later replacements, though all match and all locks are intact. There is a key present, though this only fits the drawers and not the cupboard.
