The armchair is in good condition with all upholstery intact and having a strong, sturdy frame. There is a slight amount of wear and fading to the upholstery and trim, but it remains free from holes and rips with minor staining. The frame of the chair shows some signs of age related wear, scratching and scuffing, in particular to finish on the arms and legs, with a repair being evident to the carving on the back left hand side just above the arm joint. The chair retains its castors, and remains a sturdy and functional piece of furniture.
