The desk is in good condition with some wear and damage commensurate with its age and use. The top surface displays some scratching, ring marks and scuffing. Other notable damage includes missing wood from above the top left hand drawer where the lock has been forced, denting and losses to the lower moulding above the feet and some losses to the drawer moulding. All drawers fit well though are fitted with later handles. The desk remains stable and functional.
