The ladle is in good condition with wear commensurate with its age. The join between the horn handle and silver is not very secure and it is possible the silver part has been resoldered to the bowl at some point. There is some obvious denting to the bowl of the ladle and the lip of the spout has sustained some damage. It is likely that the rim and edge of the ladle has split and subsequently been repaired as there is visible discolouration on the exterior and interior of the bowl; there are also other ares of discolouration to the silver. The handle is in good condition, though does display age and use related wear.
