There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use. As noted in the cataloguing the base is slightly later in date, probably 19th century. Both upper and lower side panels with shrinkage cracks, the left side quite faded, the veneers lifting from sun exposure. A dentil missing from the viewing front left corner of the cornice. The brass handles with large amounts of decayed polish residue.  The colour of the base section slightly darker than the more reddish tone of the upper section.
