This watercolour has not been examined out of the frame.

The watercolour is slightly faded and looks to have lost some vibrancy to colour.

There are a variety of condition faults as follows.

There is a short zig zag tear approx 0.5mm length to the top margin. 

There is a short tear approx 2cm length to the upper right margin.

The is a tear to the mid right margin, horizontal approx 3.5cm length. 

There is a horizontal line approx 5.5cm length which may be a repaired tear or simply abrasion to paint surface. 

There is also a vertical line of abrasion above the standing figure.

There is a small area of loss to the bottom left corner and a small repair to the bottom right corner.

The modern gilt frame is chipped to the bottom left corner together with a small pin head chip to top.
