Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.

The painting has been relined.

There is a vertical crease running slightly to the left of mid-way from top of painting to horizon.

There is slight crackelure to the top margin as well as elsewhere through the work.

Examination under UV light demonstrates that there is some additional painting to foreground, more-or-less the width of the bottom of the painting running from grey horse and standing figure on the left to the right corner.

The frame is in good overall condition.
