A FRENCH BRASS AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL-MOUNTED COMPENDIUM CARRIAGE TIMEPIECE AND BAROMETER

circa 1890, the pillared case with red foliate champlevé enamel panels to all sides at top and bottom and conforming decoration to the dial masks, with thermometer to the front and compass to the top, 15.5cm high x 16.5cm wide

The case is in good, clean condition, the bevelled glass panels all in good condition. The rear door panels have some rubbing to the gilding. The door to the barometer chamber is shut fast. There is a small gap between the gilt bronze and glass in the upper left corner. The door to the clock mechanism opens freely. There is a small gap between the door and the glass in the lower gilt corner. Two winding keys. The clock is not currently going.
