LACO: A GERMAN LUFTWAFFE PILOTS WATCH

with manual wind movement, the black dial with luminous Arabic numerals and luminous hands, on a brown leather strap, the case back stamped H2718, circa 1940's, the case c.54mm diam.; accompanied by various copies of black and white photographs and a photocopy of a letter with inscription that the German Lufftwaffe pilots watch was looted from the German Ordinance Depot in Kiel when it fell to the British Forces in May 1945, date stamped on the back in ink (almost worn off)

The watch was given by Major A. Robinson to his driver, Tom Scott, of Westgate.

Some surface marks and scratches to the case. Some fading to the black dial and Arabic numerals. In fairly good condition for age and wear.
