Appears in good overall condition. There are small areas of the relief decoration borders around the lid have been chipped and two very minor sections of the craved border are missing. There are also small areas missing on the phoenix roundel, there is lifting and small parts missing to the veneer to the lid and to the base. There is some wear consistent with use. Otherwise there are no obvious signs of damage or restoration (please see additional images)
