The table is in fairly good condition, and remains structurally solid and serviceable. There is evidence of worm in numerous places, and it appears that repair work may have been carried out on some of the legs because of this; the central stretcher also has a split to the wood. The surface of the table top displays further woodworm damage, splitting, knocking, denting and general wear and tear. The planks making up the top have separated and the surface is not quite level, appearing slightly bowed in places.
