The rosewood work box features high quality inlay, which overall is in fair condition with very little loss.

The box is lacking its lift out tray, there is slight chipping to both the ivory escutcheon and the front edge of the lid. In addition the lock has been cut and the hinges are slightly bent.

The domed top box is of average quality and broadly in good condition.
