Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.

From The Estate of John Whitwell MS, FRCS, 'Bagatelle', Branksome Park, Dorset.

There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use. There are no shelves. The handles have been replaced. There is a shrinkage crack in the left side panel of the lower section, and a shorter crack in the right side panel of the lower section. There is some light fading to the veneers, but in general the colour is excellent and the bookcase has been well cared for. It is in good country house condition.

There are no shelves present for the upper bookcase.
