Both letter have Edward Russell's contextual notes stapled to them and have been folded.
The 1937 letter has damage and loss to the top left corner, whilst the 1934 letter is in better condition.
The Maharaja letters are in fair condition and include one offical envelope.
The rest of the archive is in fair condition.
