AN IMPRESSIVE 19TH CENTURY ENGLISH MIRROR BACK CONSOLE TABLE BY G. NOSOTTI, LONDON

of Louis XVII design, modelled throughout with leaf moulding and floral swags, the back set with three porcelain portrait panels above the oval mirror, the base with Carrara marble top and mirrored back on six turned and fluted legs with incurved stretchers, 267cm high x 185cm wide x 60cm deep, with maker's plaque to reverse

The ribbon cresting from the top of the mirror is detached but present, with damages. There is a further piece of the cresting to the top left panel of the mirror which is broken and not present. There are further chips and losses to the gilt composition, please see additional images. The right hand porcelain plaque is marked. There are surface scratches and marks to the marble, as well as some chips to the edges and corners. Losses around the feet.
