A GEORGE III MAHOGANY DRESSING-CHEST

Third quarter 18th century
The rectangular moulded top above a fitted dressing-drawer, with brushes and other accoutrements below a green baize-lined brushing-slide, with three further drawers, the sides with large brass carrying-handles, on later ogee bracket feet

There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and cracks consistent with age and use. As mentioned in the cataloguing, the feet are later. There are two scissor-shaped water marks on the top. The metalwork is a good colour and in good conditio0.n The chest is a lovely colour and is in good condition.
