Starting with a galvanised chassis, this project underwent a
full nut and bolt restoration, with a reconditioned “Turner engineering” 2.25 4
cylinder diesel engine and reconditioned gearbox, from there on all components
were either renewed or reconditioned. With all new trim and immaculate original
dash board, a modern seat belt
anchoring bar has been added to enable front safety belts to be effectively
fitted. Fully trimmed out rubber flooring complement the original style sound
proof trim covering the bulkhead, transmission tunnel and seat box. The rear
compartment benefits from two 2-seat bench seats with rubber matted flooring
and tail-gate trim. This vehicle has new springs and all new suspension bushes, together with new tyres on refurbished standard wheels finished in
traditional Land Rover Limestone add to the original look.
