A PAINTED PINE AND WROUGHT IRON MOUNTED CHEST, PROBABLY SCANDINAVIAN

19th century, the hinged lid opening to an interior with a 'candle box' at one side, the facade with a worn inscription and date, and an applied iron fretwork panel, 30cm high x 55cm wide x 37cm deep

The lid is 55cm wide, the box is 49cm wide.

There are numerous chips losses and signs of wear. There are old repairs to the lid. There is damage and deterioration to the metal mounts in places. There is very small amount of old worm apparent, this does not effect the appearance or structure of the box. Please see additional photos.
