A FINE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER

Qing or later, enamelled in polychrome with Buddhistic emblems among scrolling lotus and key-pattern borders on a pale celadon ground, with pierced flying-scroll handles, the rim with geometric zig-zag border and the interior with a turquoise glaze, the other edge of the rim with a rectangular panel containing a six character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue within a gilt line border 25.5cm high x 24.5cm across handles

Provenance: A Private collection East Dorset, acquired in the 1950's or 1960's.
