possibly 13th/14th century, seated in Dhyanasana, on a stepped base cast and pierced with small figures and animals, 12cm high, the base with a paper label 'Feltrirelli Doria Collection" label.
Provenance: According to a label 'Luisa Feltrinelli Doria Collection, No.59', acquired by the grandparents of the present owner.
In good overall condition. There is some areas of discolouration too the surface of the bronze in areas. specifically to the forehead of the buddhas face. Otherwise, there are no obvious signs of damage or restoration (please see additional images)
