There is wear to the case consistent with age and use. The colour is faded slightly. There are splits and losses to the veneer. There are repairs evident. Two roundels are missing from the spandrels of the hood. There are small losses to the moulding. There is evidence of old worm. There are chips and losses to the feet. The pendulum is broken where the head meets the rod. There are small marks and scratches to the face.
