early 20th century, the polychrome painted top decorated with a classical roundel and swags of flowers, the facade similarly adorned, on painted tapering block legs, terminating in castors, 78cm high x 91cm wide x 45cm deep (deep), stamped 'GILLOWS' to the underside of the rail, the stamp is likely apocryphal

There is surface scratching to the top. There is craqulure to the painted decoration. There are small losses to the beading and the veneer in places. There are surface marks and areas of wear concentrated around the feet and legs, with further old chips to the legs. There are marks and small damages to the baize. 

We believe the Gillows stamp is apocryphal.
