There are a number of losses and damages, including splits to the veneer, chips to the corners and losses to inlay. There has been damage and replacements to the feet. The structure of the top requires some restoration, it is currently not sturdy. It is most likely that the top is not original to the base, and that the piece is a marriage. The borders of the glazed panels have some gaps and are lifting in places.
