Frederick Albert
Ellacott was born in Wrangaton, Devon, on the 11th of October 1886. He joined
the Royal Navy on his 18th Birthday.
He earned the NGSM
while serving on HMS Fox in the Persian Gulf. During the Great War, he served
on HMS Hyacinth.
Awarded the LSGC in
1919 and pensioned to shore in 1926.
