Leo Pendergast was born in Bolton in 1891; he was a Clerk in civilian life.

He joined the Manchester Pals on the 17th bn when war broke out; he landed in France with them on the 8th of November 1915.

Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.

He was commissioned into the East Lancashire Regiment as a Second Lieutenant on the 31st of August 1918. He survived the war and was discharged with a Silver War Badge.
