Boxed EII Royal Naval Auxiliary Service Medal. Correctly impressed J W M Payne.

Jack William Morley Payne served during the Second World war as a Petty Officer Torpedoman, as is mentioned in a newspaper article in the Bucks Herald on the 20th of August 1943, reporting the death of his brother.

I believe he joined the Royal Navy in 1942 and carried on his service in the Royal Naval Fleet Auxiliary until around 1964. He retired having risen to the rank of Lieutenant.
