Head of Sale:
Duke’s Interiors are delighted to offer the first part of a collection belonging to the renowned interior designer Christopher Hodsoll. Included in this leading sale is a collection of 19th and 20th century plaster casts, depicting an array of classical motifs and designs. This includes figural reliefs with timeless style and architectural mouldings of academic importance. Also to be offered is a group of eastern metalware, which in turn includes pieces from the collection of the late Peter Twining. This group is reminiscent of the ‘Aladdin’s cave’ interiors that Peter was famous for amongst the King’s Road antique shops of the swinging 60’s.
