The frame measures 89cm high x 78cm wide.
The painting is in predominantly good condition, with fine crackelure throughout. There are small areas of retouching. There is a small area of damage to the upper right of the canvas.
There is a short scuffed white line to lower left, three white paint drip flecks to lower centre and very small further marks.
The gesso frame as numerous small chips and losses to the gilding. Small areas of restoration and overpainting.
The canvas reads to the reverse 'Henrietta Maria, Van Dyck'. With scrolling embellishments.
