Note: Louis Desormeaux was a Huguenot originally from Rouen, who settled in Spitalfields c.1680.

These portraits bear Freeman and Sons, London restorer labels verso and have slight surface wear. Each of the inner slips are cracked and the frames have minor moulding loss.
