decorated in polychrome enamels with stylised flowers and foliage, on a blue ground within scrollwork borders, the base with a four character Qianlong mark in iron red enclosed by stylised dragons forming the cartouche, 10cm long x 3.75cm high, with a carved hardwood stand

Acquired by the grandfather of the present owner, and thence by descent.

In very good condition with some scratching on the base and old dirt. Several small areas around the rim of the lid where the enamel appears to be darker which may be inherent in the construction of the piece or indicative of minor restoration.
