A LARGE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE BITONG

probably late Ming or Transitional, the exterior decorated with military figures and immortals with deer beside a river with willow trees and a cascading waterfall, with mountains visible beyond and enclosed by incised floral borders, 18.5cm high x 20cm diameter

No apparent damage or restoration but the rim with some fritting and minor chips and the edge of the base with similar damage. The interior shows discolouration and a tide mark, possibly attributable to having been used for a plant.
