with automatic movement, the black dial with luminous Arabic and baton numerals, luminous steel hands, with Rolex logo crown, engraved to the case back "C.P.R.L.F." and on a Rolex Oyster Perpetual bracelet, circa 1960's, ref. 1016, no. 1506110, the case c.36mm diameter, in the original Rolex watch box with chronometer certificate and original Rolex guarantee dated 27/3/1968, purchased from Dieppe Barrack, Singapore

together with the Rolex Co. Ltd invoice addressed to "Lt. C.P.R.L. Farmer R.N. The Depot Royal Marines, Deal, Kent dated 26/2/1969.

Christopher Patrick Robin Lethbridge Farmer, joined the Royal Marines in 1965 on a short service commission, leaving in 1970. He later joined the Police and the Red Cross. 

Some slight fading to the luminous Arabic and baton numerals and the hands. Some small surface marks and scratches to the case and bracelet. In fairly good condition for age and wear.
