The emerald and diamond ring is in good condition though display some minor wear and damage. The emerald shows some abrasion along its facets, with a scratch across the face and some small chips along the girdle. The diamonds are slightly nibbled, but do not display any major damage or losses, they are fairly well matched. The shank does not present any signs of thinning or major wear, and the engraving on both the setting and band remain crisp. The stones appear to be securely set, although some claw work may be required and there is no evidence of repair.

The emerald in fairly good condition, however there are notable areas of damage. The emerald displays some chipping to the girdle (predominantly on the corners, with one in particular being quite badly chipped) and there is noticeable abrasion to the stone's facets. The claws of the ring would benefit from attention as several are broken/insecure, the shank is free from any thinning or misshaping and the shoulders appear to be secure.
