Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

The brooch is in good condition with no obvious areas of repair or significant damage. All diamonds and pearls are present, and appear to be secure in their settings. The pearls are grey/cream in colour and remain quite lustrous, some minor surface wear is evident. The diamonds are slightly clouded in appearance facing up a flinty white, though are fairly lively; there are some visible inclusions in some stones as well as some minor nibbling evident. The pin and safety catch are present, and the pin screw functions well allowing the brooch face and pin to be separated. There is some slight discolouration/case hardening to the metal underneath the pin attachment and to the body of the pin. The brooch has a gross weight of c. 11g.
