A SMALL BELL-SHAPED MUG (CAPUCHINE)
circa 1720-30, the decoration probably Italian, the exterior covered in a Batavian brown glaze enriched in cold colours with a crouching gilt chinoiserie figure with two attendants, smaller figures with parasols either side of the “C”-shaped handle, the border to the interior with underglaze blue flower sprays, 9cm high
