A CHINESE APOTHECARY BOTTLE

the porcelain Kangxi, circa 1700, the decoration circa 1710-30, Dutch decorated after a Japanese original of broad baluster form, the neck with brown rimmed collar and flat silver top, the body enamelled in green, red, gold and black with a pheasant on a flowering tree on each side, the shoulder with floral and scroll lappets, the neck with flower sprays and red stiff leaves, 23.5cm high

The collar has a noticeable chip, otherwise the piece appears to be in overall good order with no obvious signs of damage or restoration
