A PAIR OF KAKIEMON ORMOLU-MOUNTED BOWLS

Edo, late 17th century, of deep rounded form, decorated with flowering plants issuing from blue and yellow low tables; the top ormolu bands each with three vertical rectangular handles, the ormolu stands with three finely-chased goat’s leg monopodia supports surrounding a central gadrooned section, in the manner of Dominique Daguerre (d.1796); 11.5cm x 10.8cm

The ormolu is in excellent overall condition. with no signs off damage or restoration. there is a hairline running down from the rim to the base of one of the bowls (please see additional images)
