by Wm. Davis, London, with an eight day bell striking movement, now fitted with an anchor escapement, the pull repeat mechanism missing, the dial with a silvered metal chapter ring, a calendar aperture and winged cherub spandrels, the ebonised case with a domed top, brass carrying handle and compressed bun feet, 35.5cm high

Provenance: Bt. from a specialist clock dealer in the late 1960’s/early 1970’s for about £250.
